Casting My mind back to the 6th of Feb this year, i was standing in the newest London club Matter, built into the O2 arena. I was listening to the best in the business of drum and bass DJ's owner of Ram Records Andy C. When Andy dropped this tune i looked down from the balcony on to the main floor to see all the ravers skanking soo hard Matters main deck looked like salmon jumping out of a river. Strobes in the floor became active due to the bass from Neros latest, reaching the lowest frequency that Andy had played yet that night. We all knew this was a BIG tune and had to get our hands on the promo sooner rather than later. However with Nero soon bound to join the big boys in the industry, supported with their very talented production work it was harder to get hold of than first thought!
With "Act like you know" to be released on Breakbeat Kaos its sure to do well, however with noticing initial reaction of the crowds from every rave ive seen it played at since early Feb, it will be HUGE! This summer, wait for Nero to be playing longer sets in bigger venues, because we're sure you'll all act like you knew it would happen...

"With an erratic intro, this popular anthem opens with a big trance lead, followed by a repeated catchy vocal line, as the filtered drums fade in. The bassline then hits with huge impact, played solo, before an eight bar kick fill leads to an unexpected 16 bars of hardcore, as the track builds up to the drop.
As the track drops the drums kick through two bars late, following the vocal sample and a bar of dirty screeching bass. Although this is done to great effect, it could prove to be a DJ's nightmare. Being a perfect track to double drop, the delayed drop takes away the impact of the mix.
With splashy, heavily side-chained drums this track would seem more for the hard / techy style drums & bass heads. However, it's dirty, screechy, though rather catchy, bassline will keep the jump up lovers happy."
