For 16 years, I've been in the Telecoms industry traveling the world on Behalf of HM Government. I'm a family man, married, and enjoy raising my two Children Keelan (M9) and Shaina (F6). My love for photography started at a young age, with the assistance of a Polaroid camera. Over the years, the technology has changes, but my love for photography hasn't.
I Volunteered to go to Canada for 6 weeks in the summer of 97 and ended up eventually coming Back engaged to my Now Beautiful Wife Carol 10 Months later . My Miltary Career Quickly disappeared form under my Feet and I decided to Leave to spend more time with Carol and Keelan. I then entered the telecoms world working for 4 different companies in 3 Different countries. Fast forward to today...I'm currently working for a leading global telecoms firm. While I "do" photography on the side, it's more of a part-time, full-time job. My professional career enables me to moonlight as a photographer.

Bio
Victoria Purcell has been doing live music photography for many years, but more professionally in the last two. She has photographed many bands big and small. Whilst specialising in live music and promo photography she has also experimented in wildlife and documentary.
“The reason I love to specialise in live music photography is that you can really capture the emotion and the atmosphere when someone is performing their creation.”
(Victoria Purcell, 2008)
Victoria is currently studying BA Hons in Media, Culture, and Production at Southampton Solent University. Her main aim when she finishes her degree is to become a “Photo Journalist”.

" I’m 20 years old and live in both Bertrange/LUX and Southampton/UK. I am currently in my first year at the University of Southampton, studying Economics and Management. My interests are photography, film, (rock) music and windsurfing. I took my first live gig pictures two years ago and immediately fell in love with concert photography. When working in concert photography you find that it’s a very social and ever changing environment and a challenge to try to freeze the perfect showbiz-moments for eternity. Over the years that I have been in the business I have worked for:
Luxembourg celebrity interviewer Oliver TANSON;
Univerity newspaper;
Artists and venues back home and in Southampton.
I am now proud to be a part of the community that is Underground Music. When Underground Music approached me with opportunities I knew that it would help to further my career. Some of their previous clients impressed me as well. To see such industry popular names such as "Warner Records", "Pendulum" and "Lostprophets" helped by Underground Music excites me to think that I am now part of that community. "
Dan Smyth is a student based in Portsmouth currently in his second year at the University. He started taking photography seriously about a year ago when he shot his first concert (65daysofstatic), since then it’s been a roller coaster ride learning the ropes and having a great time on the way photographing bands from Lily Allen to Rise Against. Over this time Dan has shot for various publications including Noizemakesenemies.co.uk and Virtualfestivals.com as well as the University magazine and newspaper. Aside from concerts and live music in general Dan also photographs Sporting events such as the Portsmouth & Southampton University Varsity and various tennis events. This year he has also been the President of the University of Portsmouth’s Film & Photographic Society.
The only person in the world who could listen to Radiohead by day, go to a dirty drum and bass rave at night, then go home and listen to Jewish reggae" - Dub Concept
A passion for music has driven me to a career as not only an A&R consultant, but also a journalist and photographer. Working as part of the Underground-music clan has opened doors for me in the industry.
Although currently studying Popular Music and Record Production in Southampton, I am dedicated to music as a hobby and a future career.
Inspired by the likes of Dr Dre, Rick Ruben, Dangermouse, John Frusciante, Jimi Hendrix, DJ EZ, David Peter Meads, Neil Strauss, Mr Scruff and many others, I always had my heart set on a life working in the music business.
I have ambitious plans for Underground-music, aiming to become a well-respected establishment in the industry.
